🚨 Community Safety Alert – Attempted Vehicle Thefts 🚨

We’ve received several reports of attempted vehicle thefts in the area, where offenders have tried to steal cars by tampering with the ignition.

While investigations are ongoing, we’re asking everyone to take a few simple steps to help keep their vehicles safe:

🔐 Lock up, every time
Even when parked on your driveway or stepping away for a minute, make sure your vehicle is fully locked, and windows are closed.

🅿️ Park smart
Where possible, park in a well‑lit area or on a driveway close to your home. If you have a garage, use it.

🎥 Use security devices
Steering wheel locks, immobilisers, and tracking devices can be a strong deterrent. If you have CCTV or a video doorbell, ensure it’s working and facing your driveway or street.

🧰 Report suspicious signs
If you notice damage around your ignition, door locks, or wiring, or see anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles, please contact us using the channels below.
